PREPARATION FOR GEORGIA BAR EXAM
offers a three-week course on the Georgia
essay and Multistate Performance Test (MPT) exam. This course is designed to help students maximize their
scores on the Georgia essays and MPT portion of the bar
exam. As part of the course curriculum, students will be assigned
essays and MPTs, and will receive individualized written feedback on
their graded papers. Class time will emphasize the best strategy for approaching the test,
time management, how to
structure the written answers, how to outline the information
provided in the MPT, and synthesize the library into a cohesive
synthesis of the law. Some time will be reserved to help
individual students create a structure for their studies, manage their available time,
and make the best use of the bar review materials at their disposal.
The next class will
be held on three consecutive Saturdays -- January 14, 21 & 28, 2012
-- from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The class will meet as a group for
approximately 2 hours each week, and then Ms. Katz will hold
office hours to meet individually with students and answer specific
questions they may have that weren't covered during the class.
Students are encouraged to bring study materials with them, so they
can utilize the time until their scheduled individual appointment
with Ms. Katz.
Course tuition is $800.00 and must be paid in advance, by personal check,
VISA, Mastercard or Discover card. Class size is limited to eight students.
REGISTRATION FOR THIS CLASS REMAINS OPEN
UNTIL CLASS IS FILLED; HOWEVER, REGISTERING EARLY IS IMPORTANT, AS
THERE ARE PRE-COURSE ASSIGNMENTS THAT MUST BE COMPLETED PRIOR TO THE FIRST CLASS.

This e-mail message is sent to inform you that I passed the
February 2011 Georgia Bar Examination. I applied everything you
taught me in the Exam Prep class. Apparently your methods worked
perfectly. My essay score jumped by 20 points (from a past high
of 123 to 143. A 143!). I can state for a fact that I would not
have achieved this score without your help. Even now, I cannot
believe the massive improvement in my exam score. Thank you for
your advice. - Darryl (Feb. 2011)
have enough words to express my gratitude. I appreciate all of
your help, advice, and words of encouragement. Your lessons and
tips is exactly what I need to boost my confidence to go in and
attack this test! You always responded to every question with
patience and I really needed that. Thank you for being there and
helping me move past this last hump! Please continue doing what
you do and I will forever be grateful!

Barbara's tutoring (July 2007) gave me directed, targeted
advice on how to prepare for the essay and MPT portion of
the bar exam. I threw out my previously purchased essay prep
course books after meeting with her. I did not have an
abundance of time on my hands with a new baby but Barbara
guided me through the process efficiently...and I passed!

I want to thank you for helping me
study for the July (09) Georgia Bar Exam. After two previous
failing attempts, I passed, and I am very happy about that.
The work we did on essay writing and especially formatting
helped me a great deal. The one-on-one attention (even
though I was in D.C.) was great, I am SURE this is what put
me over the top. Again, thank you!
I passed! Thank you for all of your
help over the summer. You truly gave me the blueprint to pass!
Thank you! . . . I
really appreciated your help and motivation. It definitely
helped as I prepared for the bar. . . . I'm so glad it is
over. I wish you all the best, and if you ever have a student
requesting information about your services, I will gladly serve
as a referral.

Barbara. I certainly don't think I could have done it without
you. I appreciate all of your help, advice, and words of
encouragement. Hopefully one day (if I ever find a job in
Atlanta- things are tough out there!), I can take you out
to lunch for a proper token of appreciation.
Barbara!!! I sincerely appreciate the help that you offered in
your class. CIRAC made much of the difference!!!
I would like to
thank you for all the pointers you gave me this past summer!!
There is no way I could have passed the exam without your
assistance. I cried for three hours after I saw the
certificate. Your expertise allowed me to see exactly where I
was lacking in my essays. You also served as a counselor for me
and encouraged me to let go of the past failures. In sum, you
were an angel to me. I thank God for your unselfishness and I
thank God that I passed the Georgia bar. Wow! I am an attorney
now. God is good!!!!!
Ms. Katz also
offers private tutoring for the essay and MPT portion of the bar.
